Hi, I'm Tofu. I was found alone outside a building in Vari on May 27th, 2026. I was two months old. I don't know how I got there or how long I had been there, but I can tell you that when I arrived at the shelter I walked in like I had an appointment, so I think I was fine.

 

I was born on March 24th, 2026, which makes me a young kitten with a lot of energy and equally strong opinions about naptime. I am in perfect health with no conditions or medications needed. I am not yet neutered — too young — but that is coming. I eat wet food, specifically Egeo fish flavours, which are excellent. I do not eat RC kitten pouches. This is a firm position.

 

My personality has two modes and both are wonderful. Mode one: fully awake Tofu. This version of me loves plush toys, wrestling with other kittens, batting at hands, exploring new places immediately and without hesitation, and seeking out humans for affection and lap time. I am confident with strangers from the moment I meet them, I greet new people with curiosity rather than caution, and I purr very loudly when I am happy, which is most of the time. I am otherwise quiet — I don't meow much, I am not demanding — I just love being around people and I show it through purring and presence.

 

Mode two: napping Tofu. This version appears in the afternoons when it gets warm, and also whenever I have decided enough has happened for one morning. When I sleep I go completely limp. I have been told that picking me up mid-nap is like picking up a stuffed toy, which I think is a lovely image and also accurate. I sleep on anything soft and I sleep deeply and I am not apologetic about any of it.

 

I love other kittens, I am fine with cats of all kinds, and I think I would be good with children of any age — I am confident and gentle and nothing much rattles me.

 

I arrived in Vari with nothing and I walked into the shelter like I belonged there. I would like to do the same thing to your home. I promise you will not regret it.
