Naomi (04/2024), Female
Hi, I'm Naomi
I was born in a home. I grew up in a home. And then, when I got past the kitten stage and became just a cat, I was put out on the streets. I don't know what I did wrong, because I don't think I did anything wrong. A rescuer found me and brought me to the shelter on May 27th, 2026, and I have been here since, being as warm and affectionate as I know how to be, which is very.

I am spayed — you can tell by my snipped right ear — vaccinated, negative for feacal screenings and FELV-FIV. No current conditions, no medications, no restrictions. I eat anything and I am in good health.

My personality is simple: I love people and I love being petted, and I am not quiet about either of these things. I will meow at you to come and pet me. When you do, I will rub, purr, and head butt you to show I appreciate it. I will then find your lap and stay there for as long as you will have me. I am not a player — toys do not particularly interest me — and most of my time is spent on the balcony, sleeping peacefully in whatever warmth I can find.

I am friendly with strangers from the very first moment and comfortable in new places — I explore confidently rather than cautiously. I like people around but I also enjoy my own quiet time and I balance the two without drama.

I am comfortable with other cats and would do fine in a solo or multi-cat home. I would likely be good with children who know how to respect a cat.

I was born in a home and left on the streets. All I want is to be in a home again — and this time, to stay.
