Hi, I’m Riko — a calm boy with a shy heart and soft fur. I was born on July 17, 2024, and I used to live in a cat colony in Nikaia, Piraeus. A kind lady took care of all of us — she trapped, neutered, and returned us after making sure we were safe. But one day, I got hit and hurt my leg. The lady took me home and helped me heal for two months with a splint. When I got better, she couldn’t bring herself to send me or my friend Kiko back to the street — we were just too gentle, she said. That’s how my journey to the LBS sanctuary began, hoping one day I’ll find my forever home.

The humans here tell me I’m healthy — my blood and fecal tests were all negative, and I’m fully vaccinated. I was neutered in January 2025, and I don’t have any allergies or need medicine. My body’s strong again, and my heart’s ready for a kind person to trust.

I’m not the first to come running when someone walks in — I like to take things slow. I watch from my cozy spot, and when I feel safe, I’ll let you pet me on my head and I’ll purr softly to thank you. I like other cats, especially my buddy Apollo, and I enjoy quiet company. I’m not loud or demanding — just peaceful and curious in my own way.

My favorite thing? Napping near windows, watching the light change, or curling up in a balcony bed. I prefer calm voices and soft movements; loud noises make me hide. I’m most active in the afternoons and evenings, when I sometimes stroll around to explore.

I eat dry food, don’t ask for much, and am happiest when things stay gentle and steady. I just need someone patient who’ll let me be me — quiet, kind, and soft-hearted. If you give me time, I’ll give you my quiet trust and love in return.
