Hi, my name is Ted! I used to live next to some bins. Life wasn’t great. But a friend of Lets Be S.M.A.R.T. used to feed me, until she decided it wasn’t safe by the bins and took me to live at the shelter!

People say I’m a bright young man, and it’s true! I am curious and smart. I do need time to get used to a new environment and new people, so if you have time and patience I promise I will reward you with my trust and affection.

Once I feel comfortable, I love nothing more than big strokes and attention. A butt scratch is my favourite, I love to have my fur ruffled!  If you have wet food I will be your best friend – it’s my absolute favourite!! I can smell it from a mile away so as soon as I hear it open I will come running. Treats are wonderful too, I like to play a game and chase them if you throw them on the floor. It’s so much fun!

I’m an outdoorsy type. The fresh air and space makes me feel at peace, so if you have a secure balcony/garden that would be perfect! I would like to have a confident kitty friend to help me come out of my shell. I do well when another cat can tell me that humans are great. I have so much love and affection to give, I will rub myself on anything I am close to so you know I am ready for cuddles.

A calm home with not too many loud noises would be perfect, places to sit up high and a space corner would be ideal.
