Hi, I'm Wayne. I'm going to level with you: I'm not here for the games, the laser pointers, or the 3am zoomies. I'm here for the laps. Specifically yours, whenever you're ready to sit down.

I was born in May 2014, which makes me a senior cat with a lot of life experience and very refined priorities. I'm neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and generally a very sorted individual.  My teeth have been giving me some trouble lately, I am on Stomaferin right now and will be seeing the vet soon about possible extractions. It sounds more dramatic than it is. I just need wet food and a little extra care in that department. Everything else about me is perfectly fine.

My personality? I've been described as relaxed and awesome, and I think that's accurate. I greet everyone who walks through the door — I'm not the shy type. I don't meow much; I find that a slow, meaningful blink gets the message across just as well. I get along with other cats without any fuss, and children who've come to visit have been absolutely fine with me, as long as they're the decent sort.

I nap. That's the main thing. I nap on laps, I nap in sunspots, I nap wherever the mood takes me because frankly the world is my bed. I'm not fussy about where I'm touched — you can pet me anywhere and I will simply accept it with dignity.

I'm looking for a quieter home where someone will value a calm, loving, undemanding companion. I don't need much. I just need you to sit still long enough for me to climb on you.
