Hello, my name is Nako. I’m a female cat, born on May 1st, 2025, and I came to the LBS sanctuary on 20.12.25. My story began in a scary place — I was found inside a car engine. Luckily, I was discovered in time and brought to safety, and that’s how my new life started.

I’m a healthy girl, spayed, I don’t have any allergies or food sensitivities, and I don’t have any past or current health issues. I’m very affectionate with humans. I’m friendly with new people and respond well when someone enters my space. I love being petted and show my affection by purring and giving headbutts. I don’t attach myself to just one person — I simply enjoy human company!

 

Other cats make me a bit nervous. I’m quite shy around them, and I sometimes growl because I feel scared, not aggressive. I haven’t made any close feline friends yet. I could live with other cats, but for now, a home where I’m the only cat might help me feel more relaxed and confident. I haven’t been tested around children but I believe I would be ok with children who know how to handle a cat and can be patient when needed.

I enjoy all kinds of toys, but what I truly love is comfort. My favorite thing to do is curl up in a cat bed, groom myself, or take a peaceful nap. I have a special spot — a cat bed on a table in the living room, away from the other cats — where I feel especially safe. Most of my time is spent in cozy beds. I love being petted all over, and I really enjoy human affection. I’m not sensitive to noises or sudden movements, and the only time I show discomfort is when other cats get too close — that’s when I might growl.

I’m a laid-back cat and usually most active in the mornings. I am a bit talkative, especially when I want to be petted, and that’s how I let people know I’d like some attention. I’m cautious when exploring new places, but still confident. I enjoy quiet time on my own, but I also appreciate gentle human interaction.

I eat wet food, don’t have a favorite treat yet, and there’s nothing I dislike. I don’t have any special dietary needs — just a calm space, soft beds, and someone who enjoys sharing peaceful moments with me.
