EDUCATING CHILDREN, ADULTS, AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH OUR S.M.A.R.T. FAMILY VIDEO SERIES

Let’s Be S.M.A.R.T.” stands for Smart and Sustainable Solutions for Animal Welfare Management Through Education. We invest a great deal of energy and resources in educating communities about animals. Our global S.M.A.R.T. Family animated video series for children and adults is designed to cover some very important topics related to animal welfare, responsible care, and compassionate communities.

In our S.M.A.R.T. video series, audiences learn about important topics through the encounters and experiences of the S.M.A.R.T. Family. Along the way, they are given many S.M.A.R.T. tips and interesting facts about animals.

Our videos are accompanied by an educational workbook and suggested activities for children in the following age groups: under 5 years, 5–7 years, 8–13 years, and 14–18 years.

The video series is available in English and Greek. We are also translating the videos into other languages upon request. For example, our first video was created in English, Greek, and Arabic.

Our videos are created by a professional videographer and animator dedicated to promoting our vision and passion for animal welfare education.

Our animated S.M.A.R.T. Family video series global online educational program was approved by the Greek Ministry of Education on November 26, 2021 (document number 150817/2021).

This is a significant milestone and achievement for our Let’s be S.M.A.R.T. organization, as our educational program has been officially recognized by the Greek authorities as appropriate teaching material for educating and raising awareness among students about animals. The program also encourages students to love, respect, protect, and care for animals.

Teaching Compassion Towards Animals to the Future Generation – Collaboration with a Primary School in Perama for Children with Special Needs (February 2021)

In February 2022, our Let’s be S.M.A.R.T. organization launched a collaboration with our first Greek school - a primary school in Perama for children with special needs - to present the S.M.A.R.T. video series. The program aimed to educate and raise awareness among pupils about animals, encouraging them to love, respect, protect, and care for animals.

The children learned about responsible pet ownership and the benefits of adopting instead of buying pets. After watching the videos, they created animal-themed crafts, including masks, canvases, and their very own superhero capes - helping them feel like the animal superheroes they saw in the series!

Both our staff and the children had a wonderful and inspiring time, and it was incredibly rewarding to see them learning compassion and empathy for animals.
