Hi, I’m Tanjiro — the little explorer who couldn’t wait to meet the world! I was born right here at the shelter on April 13th, 2025. My mom was brought in to be sterilized, but surprise — I was already on the way! I was the first of my siblings to leave the nest and go check out the humans, and honestly, I’ve been curious and confident ever since.

 

I love playing all day, especially with my siblings and I’m just as happy in a big group of cats as I would be in a cozy home on my own. New people? I’m not shy — I’ll come play. Loud sounds? Doesn’t faze me. I love head and butt scratches, and I’ll even climb on you if you’re fun enough!

I haven’t met any kids yet, but I’d do well with children who know how to treat me kindly. My favorite things in the world are toys — all of them! Feathers, balls, lasers, plushies — if it moves, I’m chasing it. I spend my time running around, climbing, and cuddling up with my siblings when I need a nap. I’m not super chatty, but I do meow when I need to, and I mostly show how I feel by bouncing around or curling up close.

 

I’m healthy with no food allergies, special needs, or ongoing treatments. Right now, I’m eating kitten food and especially love wet meals.
