Hi! I’m Croissant — a tiny ball of sunshine with a big love for life. I was born on August 9, 2025, and found in Varkiza by one of the kind volunteers who feed the stray cats there. I was with my mom, but my eyes were hurting badly, and I couldn’t see well. The volunteer scooped me up and brought me to the vet to help me get better — and that’s how my new life began.

I am heathy and I already had my tests which came back negative!My eyes are still infected, and when I’m older, I’ll need a surgery to remove them — but don’t worry, I’m brave, and I already get around like a little pro. Other than that, I’m perfectly healthy, with no allergies or special needs.

I’m a happy, playful kitten who loves everyone I meet — people, kids, cats, you name it! I love to chase my toy mice, bat at dangling strings, and zoom around until I curl up in my favorite nest bed for a nap. I purr loudly when you pet me anywhere — head, chin, back — I just love the attention. I’m curious, confident, and not afraid of much. I don’t hiss or hide, though I do growl a bit when I have to get my eye drops (but wouldn’t you?).

Even though I’ll soon be blind, I don’t let that slow me down one bit. I already use my hearing and sense of smell like a little explorer, and I can find my toys, my food, and most importantly — you! All I want is a home where I can feel safe, loved, and have lots of playtime. I promise I’ll fill it with purrs, cuddles, and joy every single day.

Croissant was adopted locally and he went to his forever home in October 2025.
