Hi, I'm Gracie. I am going to be straightforward with you because I think we will both save time that way: I am not a kitten. I was born on October 29th, 2017, and I have lived a full life — years on the streets of Kallithea, looked after by kind people who fed me and watched over me, and then one day I got sick and they brought me inside and took care of me, and then they brought me here. I arrived on June 20th, 2026, and I have been napping on the catio ever since.

Health-wise I am completely fine. Vaccinated, spayed, negative for everything they tested me for, no conditions, no medications, no restrictions. I eat anything. I am, for a cat who has spent years outdoors, in excellent shape.

 

My personality is best described as: peaceful. I like to nap. I like to be in the same room as a person without being expected to perform any particular level of affection. I like head and neck scratches when I am in the mood, which I will communicate to you with a small meow and the positioning of my head near your hand — when that happens, please respond accordingly. When I am not in the mood, I simply won't do that, and you should not take it personally.

 

I do not play. I have never been observed playing and I see no reason to start. I am not vocal except for the occasional soft meow when I want something specific. Sudden movements startle me and I would prefer you not touch my back end. Everything else, in the right moment, is available.

 

New people do not particularly concern me. Other cats are fine — I am not aggressive or territorial — but I would genuinely prefer to be the only cat in a home where I do not have to negotiate for the best napping spot.

I am looking for a calm, quiet home where someone will appreciate a cat who asks for very little, takes up very little, and offers in return a quiet, steady, dignified presence that makes a home feel settled and warm. I have been doing this for years. I am very good at it.
