Hi, I’m Popeye! I’ve already lived through more than most cats ever will. I was found in terrible condition on the streets of Glyfada — my jaw was broken, one of my eyes was so badly infected it had to be removed, and I was dehydrated and starving. The vet stayed by my side all night, unsure if I would even survive. But I made it, and now I’m healing with a little less vision, but a whole lot of love to give.

I’m a sweet, affectionate guy - I purr, rub, head butt, and even roll over for belly rubs. I love people and get along with cats too (even when they hiss at me, I don’t mind). Right now I’m still learning about toys — bells seem pretty fun! Mostly, I enjoy napping in cozy cat beds or curled up inside a cat tree, but I also love lap time and being petted absolutely everywhere.

I do take eye drops three times a day for the ulcer in my remaining eye, but I don’t mind. The vet will check again after a month to decide what’s next. I’m quiet overall, but I chirp when I want love, and I don’t mind new people at all. I’m mostly laid-back, a little cautious when exploring, and I really don’t mind getting my naps interrupted for some love.
