Hi there, I'm Melina, a gentle and tender-hearted lady who has been through quite a bit in my life. I was found wandering the streets of Varkiza in terrible condition, but thankfully, a kind team rescued me and gave me the medical care I desperately needed. Now, at 10 years old, I've healed beautifully and am ready to find a calm, loving home where I can enjoy my golden years.

About Me:

I'm a sweet, independent cat who enjoys my privacy but also appreciates the quiet comfort of having a human companion nearby. I don’t play much anymore because of my age, but I do love to relax and chill in cozy spots, especially in my favorite scratching post where I like to nap. I have a particular fondness for wet food and will never say no to a delicious meal!

Although I’m friendly, I prefer a peaceful environment where I can feel safe. I have a sensitive and tender nature, and I thrive best in a calm household with fewer cats. While I do like my own space, I enjoy cuddles and will happily snuggle up next to you on the couch as you watch TV. After all I’ve been through, I find comfort in being near a kind human who can give me the love and security I deserve.

I would do best in a quiet, calm household with fewer other cats, where I can be the center of attention and truly blossom. I’m looking for someone who understands my need for privacy and will offer me a peaceful environment to live out my days in comfort. While I may not be the most active cat, my gentle companionship will bring warmth and love to any home.

Melina was adopted abroad by one of our volunteers and she travelled to her forever home in December 2024.
