Hi, I'm Kevin

I was found almost dead in Kypseli. Urinary blockage. I was rushed to the vet and they saved me, and then it became clear that going back to the street without proper diet and care would just put me back in the same position. So I came to the shelter on July 17th, 2026, and I have been here since, cautiously figuring out whether the world is safe.

I was born approximately June 2022. I am neutered, vaccinated and negative for everything they tested me for. My diet is the most important thing my future home needs to understand: I eat urinary wet and dry food only, and I take UrinoVet Dilution supplements every day. This is not optional. It is what keeps me alive, and it must continue without exception. I also need a calm, stress-free environment — stress and urinary issues go together in a way that is not good for me, which is why children are not recommended.

I am shy. When someone new comes in I hide. Fast movements and loud noises make me uncomfortable. I am not aggressive — I might hiss if I feel I have to, but I have never attacked anyone — I just need time before I decide to trust. With the team and volunteers I am already letting people pet me on my back and under my neck, and when I am comfortable I purr and I mean it.

My favourite spot is the hexagonal structure on the balcony. I spend most of my day there. In the evenings I sometimes get the zoomies, briefly and completely, and then I go to sleep. At night, when I have decided the time is right, I will come and sleep next to you. I do not announce this. I simply arrive.

I would prefer to be the only cat — not because I fight, but because I find it all a bit much and I walk away from conflict. I like string toys and I will chew on your hand affectionately if I like you. I am mostly quiet and I ask for very little. Just the right food, the right environment, and someone patient enough to wait for me to arrive.
