Hi, I'm Beans. A couple found me in their neighbourhood in Glyfada when I was only a few days old and completely alone. They made sure I got to the shelter on April 22nd, 2026. I was born on April 15th, 2026, which means I arrived here at one week old, which is very young, and I have spent every day since then making the most of being alive.

Health update: I am in perfect health with no conditions, no medications, no restrictions. I eat anything. Everything is fine and I am thriving.

 

Here is what I am: very active. All the time. At all hours. I run, I chase, I wrestle the other kittens, and I explore every new space I find myself in with complete curiosity and zero caution. My favourite toys are feather toys and toy mice, and I have an additional, very serious attachment to shoelaces. If you are wearing shoes with shoelaces and you walk near me, I am going to chase them. This is not negotiable. I am sorry. I am not sorry.

When I am done with all of that — and I do eventually get done, briefly — I fall asleep wherever I am. The floor, a bed, mid-run if necessary. I sleep hard and then I wake up and start again.

 

I am very friendly with everyone I meet and I show this primarily through very loud purring, which starts immediately when someone picks me up or pets me. I love being held, I love being petted anywhere, and I seek out human attention whenever it's available. I am mostly quiet otherwise — I don't really meow, I just show up and purr and make my presence known that way.

 

I love other cats, especially Marlon Brando, who was my shelter companion before he got adopted. I would love a multi-cat home where there is always someone to chase. I think I'd be wonderful with children of any age. I have no bad days, no triggers, no complaints.

 

I was found alone at a few days old. I am now a lot of energy and a very loud purr in a small body, looking for a home that will embrace both. Bring your shoelaces. I'll take care of the rest.
