Greetings everyone!

My name is JoAnn Jordan, and I am honored to be an Ambassador for the Let's Be S.M.A.R.T family, a dedicated non-profit organization focused on animal welfare and rescue.

As an American who moved to Athens 3 years ago, observing the staggering amount of community cats is undeniable. Now retired, my varied career in nursing has shifted from providing patient care to my compassion for serving animals. My own cat, who accompanied me to Greece, was from a shelter whom I rescued. Or shall I say she rescued me!

Julie Kelly (founder of Let's Be S.M.A.R.T.), staff members, and volunteers dedicate their time and expertise to ascertain that these animals are fed, loved, and have a safe home environment. Medical issues are attended to, as well as neutering. And of course, adoption is our destination.              
In this role I'd like to help raise awareness, vital funds, and adoption rates.

I look forward to integrating our mission with community members like you. Let's work together to provide a better environment for our furry friends.
