Hi, I'm Shirley

Laverne and I were found on the main road in Anavyssos and came to the shelter together on July 24th, 2026. We are a pair and we are staying that way. I want to be very clear about this because it is the most important thing. Two dogs. One home. Laverne and me. Perfect.

I was born in March 2025, I am spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and healthy. No conditions, no medications, no restrictions. I eat anything. Laverne and I both have some itchy skin so we are on grain-free or hypoallergenic food and that should continue. Dental treats are my favourite thing in the treat category.

My personality: I am playful, excitable, and completely in love with people and with life. I lick. I wag. I seek out attention because I genuinely want it and I am not shy about saying so. When I see my leash I bark, because I know what it means and I am very excited about it — walks are one of the best things that happen to me and I feel this should be celebrated. I love rope toys, I love playing with Laverne, and I love napping in a covered spot once I have used up my energy, which does eventually happen.

I am mostly quiet otherwise — I bark when the neighbourhood dogs start up, and I bark at my leash, and that is about it. I pull a bit on the leash and would benefit from some training on that. I am fine with other dogs, comfortable being left alone, and I think I would be great with children of most ages — I am friendly and open and I find most things in life straightforwardly good.

I was found on a road in Anavyssos. I would like to end up somewhere with daily walks, dental treats, Laverne, and as many licks as anyone is willing to accept. I have a lot to give and I am ready to give it.
