Hi, I'm Tank. I was found in a box near a dumpster in Vari/Vouliagmeni on March 21st, 2026, with my sister Tulip. I was eleven days old. Someone put us in a box and left us there, but then someone else found us and made sure we got to the sanctuary, and things have been considerably better since then.
I should say upfront: Tulip and I come as a pair. We are not separable. If you are reading this and thinking you only want one cat, I would gently encourage you to reconsider, because two kittens are objectively better than one and also she is my sister and I love her.
Health-wise I am doing great!
My personality in brief: I am very playful, very affectionate, and I purr at a volume that some people find surprising for a small cat. I do not meow much — I find purring covers most of what I need to express. I love being petted anywhere, I seek out humans when I want attention, and I am comfortable with everyone I've met so far. Strangers are just friends I haven't purred at yet.
During the day I alternate between zooming around, climbing everything I can reach, chasing Tulip, playing with mouse toys and feathers, and sleeping directly on or next to a person. I explore new places enthusiastically rather than cautiously. I have no sensitivities, no bad moods, no areas I dislike being touched.
I came from a box by a dumpster. I would like to move somewhere with pillows and laps and Tulip nearby. I don't think that's too much to ask.

Hi, I'm Tulip. My brother Tank and I were found in a box near a dumpster in Vari/Vouliagmeni on March 21st, 2026. We were eleven days old. I don't know much about what happened before that, and honestly I've moved on — the sanctuary has been kind, the food is great, and Tank is still here so everything that matters is intact.
Speaking of Tank: we are a pair. We come together. If you are here for just one cat, I want you to know that Tank is genuinely wonderful and also he would be devastated, and so would I, so please consider taking both of us. Two kittens for the price of two. Excellent deal.
Health update: I am in perfect shape.
My personality: I am friendly, affectionate, curious, and busy. I love people — all of them, strangers included — and I show it by curling up on them and purring at a volume that has been described as impressive. I am mostly quiet otherwise, except when I'm hungry, at which point I will let you know. I love being petted anywhere and I seek out human company because I genuinely enjoy it, not just when I want something.
Between cuddle sessions I am climbing things, running around, playing with any toy available — feathers, balls, mouse toys, all welcome — and chasing Tank, which is one of my favourite sports. I sleep on beds and pillows and anywhere soft. I explore new spaces quickly and confidently. I have no bad spots, no sensitivities, nothing that bothers me.
I was found in a box eleven days into my life. I'd like my next chapter to involve a warm bed, some good toys, a human or two who doesn't mind a loud purr, and Tank sleeping nearby. That's everything I need.
