Hi my name Is Nefeli! I was taken to the vets by my former owners, I had  a bad injury on one of my legs and they wanted to euthanise me. The vets saw I was healthy and sweet and contacted LBS to ask if they could take me in, to save my life!

Luckily they said yes of course, the vets had to amputate my leg as they couldn’t save it. But once I had healed I came to the shelter. I may have a little grumpy face, but really I am a sweetheart! I like my own space, to have my own sleeping and hiding spots. I am a rather independent kitty and love to do my own thing, when I want to! I am still getting used to humans, I can be a little unsure at times so need a calm home where I can just be me. I might not be a cuddly cat, but I will keep you entertained.

Food is definitely the way to my heart! I am super chatty at dinner time and I will meow at your feet asking for dinner. When I am eating is the best time to give me a cuddle, it’s when I am happiest! I don’t like to be approached as it scares me, so please be gentle with me and give me time and space to get to know you. 

 

Even though I only have three legs, it doesn’t stop me doing anything! I love to climb up high, explore new spots and be super adventurous. Occasionally I lose my balance, but the more I get used to having three legs the more stable I get.

 

I love soft squishy blankets to snuggle under, it’s the perfect hiding spot as you’ll never see me! I need a family who are happy for me to be myself and not expect too many cuddles from me. I am sweet and loving, but on my own terms.

Nefeli was adopted locally and she went to her forever home in July 2022.
