Hi, I'm Kikitsa

I was living in Neos Kosmos, being looked after by a kind neighbour, when it became clear that my neighbourhood wasn't safe for a cat like me. I am, by nature, trusting — and in a place where some people poison street cats, that is a dangerous quality to have. So I was brought to the shelter on June 19th, 2026, to keep me safe. I didn't choose to come here, but I understand why, and I have made my peace with it.

I was born in January 2024. I am spayed, vaccinated and negative for everything they tested me for. I have no conditions, no medications, no restrictions. I prefer dry food, I am not particularly interested in wet food, and I have very strong feelings about Churu treats.

My personality: I am sweet, gentle, and I take my time with new people. I don't rush in. But once I decide someone is worth trusting — and I will decide, it doesn't take forever — I want all the pets. All of them. Everywhere. I show affection through rubbing, purring, and head butts, and I will meow at you occasionally when I want attention, which I consider very reasonable communication.

I am not a player. I do not chase things or bat at toys. My preferred activity is napping on a high spot near a window, which I do with great dedication. I like spending time with people without needing to be on top of them, I enjoy my personal space as much as I enjoy company, and I have no sensitivities, no triggers, and nothing I dislike being touched.

I am fine with other cats and fine without them. I would do well with calm children who know how to be around cats. I just need a quiet home where someone will earn my trust — and discover that once they have it, I give it completely.
