Gizmo (04/2026), Male

Hi, I'm Gizmo.

I was found running through the streets and then hid inside a car engine until someone got me out. I am not going to explain this. It was a difficult time and I handled it the way I handle everything — by making a lot of noise until someone paid attention.

I arrived at the shelter on July 6th, 2026. I was born in April 2026, so I am a young kitten. I am in perfect health with no conditions, no medications, no restrictions. I eat wet food and I have no complaints.

Here is what you need to know about me: I meow. A lot. For everything. I meow when I want to play, I meow when I want affection, I meow when I have something to say, and sometimes I meow just because the silence feels wrong and I feel I should fill it. This is not going to change. My future home should know this upfront and ideally find it charming, because I genuinely cannot help it and I have no plans to stop.

When I am not meowing I am playing — with wand toys, with balls, with the other kittens, who I love to wrestle at every available opportunity. I am active all day, explore new spaces with confidence and curiosity, and run around at full speed until I suddenly become very sleepy, at which point I find something soft and turn into an entirely cuddly, purring, still creature. People find this transition surprising. I find it very natural.

I love being petted anywhere, I am friendly with everyone, comfortable with all cats, and I think I would be wonderful with children of any age. I have no sensitivities, no bad moods, nothing I dislike. I am a lot of kitten in a small package and I am looking for a home that has room for all of it.

I was in a car engine. Now I am here. Meowing. Come and meet me.
