Hi, I’m Spithas! I started life as a tiny stray kitten born right outside my rescuer’s yard in Nea Smyrni. My siblings were faster than me and ran off to explore the world before I even understood the chaos! I stayed behind — the brave little guardian of the yard… until one day the rescuers finally caught me and carried me to safety at the shelter. I wasn’t sure what was happening, but they held me gently and I felt their warmth. That was the moment my second life began.

 

I may not see the world like other cats do, because I’m blind… but trust me, I feel it more than most! My right eye is bigger than the other, so I get eye drops every day. The nice humans say that soon I’ll need my eye removed (they call it enucleation), so I can stay healthy and pain-free. Good news though? My tummy and body are tip-top strong! My blood and fecal tests were negative!

 

Personality? Oh I’ve got tons of that! I’m a playful boy — morning zoomies? My favorite sport! Evening foot-hunting? Absolutely! (Especially volunteer toes that wiggle under blankets). I don’t mean to hiss at other cats — sometimes I get spooked because I can’t see them coming. I might hiss or give a tiny smack, but only when surprised. Most of the time I think I’d do best as your only cat, so I can soak up ALL your love and be the star of the house.

 

I love every toy, but the cat tube is my secret base — I sprint in, nap in, and dramatically pop out like a ninja!
I also love climbing your leg to reach you when I want cuddles — not because I’m rude, but because I want to feel your closeness right away. I do it, I conquer you, and I melt in your hands after.

 

Food and treats? I’m easy — I love them all! But if you ever open a Churu… well, I will appear. Blind teleportation powers activated!
