Sweden (01/2018), Female

Hi, I'm Sweden

My owner died. His brother took me in, but then had to move and couldn't bring me because of a family allergy. I arrived at the LBS foster home  on July 14th, 2026, and I am going to be honest: I have had a difficult few years and I would like that to stop now.

I was born January 1st, 2018. I am spayed since 2019 and vaccinated.I had some teeth sorted out in July 2026. Tested negative for everything. No conditions, no medications, no dietary restrictions. I eat anything and I have very strong feelings about Churu treats — please factor this in.

I love people. I rub on them, I purr at them, I meow at them for food and pets and general acknowledgment, and I am warm and friendly with strangers from the first moment. I like being petted. I like lap time. I also like my own time and I do not feel guilty about this. If I have had enough of something or I am stressed, I will hiss or swat — not aggressively, just clearly — and I always give warning before it comes to that. Older children who understand what a cat looks like when she has reached her limit are fine. Younger ones are not.

Other cats I attack. I am not going to dress this up. I have chosen my spot in the upstairs hallway — the cat tree, the top of the dryer — and I live there, and I am not particularly interested in sharing any of it. A solo home is what I need and what will make me genuinely happy.

I am most active in mornings and evenings. I am not easily startled. I know what I want and I say so. I have lost two homes and I would very much like the next one to be permanent.
