Ariel (05/2019), Female

Hello my name is Ariel and I am a very sweet cat with a very nice and good character. I was living as a stray until recently and was roaming around a feeding station where I had friends and got fresh food and water every day by a lovely lady. Unfortunately being outdoors as a stray meant my immune system was low from time to time and I was suffering from respiratory issues. The lady who fed me on a daily basis, tried to help me by giving me antibiotics but the truth is that the treatment didn’t really help. I started having difficulty in breathing so i stopped eating. My third eyelids were out and I felt like having fever.  The lady spotted me and immediately understood I felt miserable so she trapped me and took me to the veterinarian for a consultation. He changed the treatment and started giving me cortisone as well. In a very short period of time, i felt a lot better and started being myself again. I have been living at the LBS foster home since 20.09.2022 and from what I have overheard, the people that take care of me are trying to find me a permanent home and I couldn’t be happier about it.

I love affection and enjoy kisses and hugs. I am very grateful to be rescued and removed from the streets and will show you any chance I get. I am a chilled cat with low energy levels who love to rest during the day and sleep on soft places! Fluffy beds are a must for me and I enjoy to snuggle in. I am very friendly with people and even if I don’t know someone, one sniff is enough for me. I easily feel comfortable around humans and I am great with other cats as well. Due to my sensitivity (respiratory) I would be better in a household alone or with 1-2 cats so the possibilities of me picking up something from other kitties are reduced.

I love having food available all day and all night and adore wet food!

I also love to sunbath so a house with a protected outdoor area is preferable so I can enjoy some quiet time outdoors during a sunny day. I have a calm personality that will fit perfectly in any household and I can’t wait to find a great home.

Ariel was adopted abroad and she travelled to her forever home in January 2023.
