Hi, I'm Francis. 

I was found alone in Varkiza in October 2025 — just a small kitten sitting by a feeding stop, meowing at anyone who'd listen. Apparently I was pretty hard to ignore, because I ended up at the shelter on October 31st, and honestly? Best thing that could have happened to me.

I've had a bit of a journey since then. I came in with giardia and ringworm, which wasn't ideal, but I dealt with both and came out the other side completely healthy. These days I'm neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for FeLV, FIV, and FIP. No medications, no special needs — just a cat who's ready for his next chapter. 

Here's what you should know about me: I love people. All people. I don't do shy, I don't do standoffish. If you walk into the room, I will notice, and if you walk past me without stopping, I will meow at you until you come back. I'm not sorry about this.

My favourite thing is being petted around the head, ears, and neck — I'll push into your hand and let out the smallest, softest purrs you've ever heard. I also love a good back scratch. The belly, however, is not a petting zone. I've been very clear about this and I will enforce it.

I'm most alive in the mornings and evenings, and during those times I love to play — feathers, bell toys, stuffed mice, scratching posts, literally anything. I'm not fussy. When I'm not playing, I'm probably looking for a cozy spot or, more likely, looking for you. I like company. I seek it out. I'm built for connection.

I eat wet food, fish flavour only. I have standards.

 I have no issues with other cats as far as I know so I could either live solo or in a multi cat household. I'm good with kids too, though I'd prefer the ones who understand that overstimulation leads to consequences. Six and up is a good rule of thumb.

I'm curious, confident, affectionate, and a little bit chatty. I'm looking for a home with laps to sit on, toys to destroy, and people who don't mind being greeted loudly every morning. I've been waiting since October. Come find me.
