Hey there! I’m Toad. Life didn’t start out easy for me—I was rescued from a hoarding situation where I lived with nearly 40 other cats, all kept in cramped carriers to prevent us from mating. Our owner only visited once a week to clean and feed us, so we spent most of our days in isolation, longing for warmth, space, and love. But thanks to kind-hearted rescuers and organizations like the one that saved me, I finally got a second chance. When I first arrived, I was a bit overwhelmed, but with time, patience, and lots of love, I’ve learned to trust and enjoy life again. Now, I’m ready to find a forever home where I can truly thrive.

I’m playful, affectionate, and I love being around people. I can be a little shy when meeting new folks, but once I get to know you, I’m all about purring and giving headbutts to show how much I care.

I get along well with other cats and prefer to be in a multi-cat environment, though I don’t mind having my own space either. I’m not territorial at all, so I’d be happy to share a home with other calm cats. I really enjoy playing with plush toys, chasing them around, and having some fun. But when it’s time to relax, you’ll find me napping in cozy spots, usually on a bed where I feel safe and comfortable.

I’m a little cautious about new things, but once I feel at ease, I’m all in for cuddles and lap time. I’m a quiet guy, so I don’t meow much, but I love being around my humans and just hanging out. I’m looking for a home where I can get attention and affection when I need it and some quiet time when I want to recharge.
