I'm a young guy—born in August 2025, so I'm still got all that kitten energy coursing through my veins! I arrived at the shelter on October 20th, 2025, and honestly? I've been making the most of my time here, but I'm ready for my forever home.

 

Let's talk about the medical stuff (because I know you humans care about this): I'm healthy and I've had fecal tests done (all negative, phew!). Good news —no allergies, no health issues, no medications needed. I'm a healthy, robust little dude! Oh, and I'm microchipped so I can always find my way back to you.

Now, let's get to the fun part—who I REALLY am.

 

I'm a playful boy! Like, seriously playful. When evening rolls around? That's when I really come alive. But don't worry, I also appreciate a good nap in a cozy spot or up on a high bed where I can survey my kingdom. Balance, you know? You want to know my favorite toy in the whole world? The mop head. Yes, you read that right. THE MOP HEAD. It's the greatest invention known to catkind, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. I'm all about chasing, climbing, scratching, and basically any activity that involves moving. I'm an energetic little guy with a zest for life!

Here's what makes me tick. I'm confident. When new people come around, I don't freak out—I observe first, then I come check you out. Because curiosity is my middle name (okay, I don't actually have a middle name, but if I did...). I love exploring new spaces and I'm not the cautious type. Life's too short to hide under the furniture! When it comes to affection, I'm not one of those cats who's going to narrate my entire day to you—I'm more on the quiet side. Sometimes I'll meow for food (hey, a guy's gotta eat), but mostly I let my actions speak louder than my meows. When I want attention, I'll come right up to you and start playing. And if you're looking for the sweet spot? Butt scratches. That's where it's at, my friend.

I like spending time near windows, observing the outside world like it's my personal TV channel. And yes, I enjoy being petted and having playtime with you, though we haven't tested the whole lap-sitting thing yet—but I'm open to new experiences! I'm comfortable and confident around my feline friends. Sometimes I show a little bossy attitude (I mean, somebody's got to keep things organized around here), but it's nothing serious. I get along with pretty much anyone who's out with me, though I haven't formed any crazy intense bonds. I seem to like having friends around, so a multi-cat household could work great for me!

I haven't been tested around children yet, but if your kids know how to interact with cats respectfully, we'll probably be just fine. Just teach them that I'm not a fan of people messing with my backside.

Food preferences? Glad you asked!

I prefer wet food, and my absolute favorite treat is Churu (aka cat crack—it's THAT good). Right now I'm eating kitten food because, well, I'm still technically a kitten. No special dietary restrictions, no sensitive stomach, and I'm not really a picky eater.

I'm not sensitive to loud noises or sudden movements. I don't hide, hiss, or swat when I'm uncomfortable (except for the butt-sampling incident, but can you blame me?). I'm not timid or fearful. I'm just... me. Confident, playful, curious Johnny.

What I am looking for? A home where I can zoom around in the evenings, nap in sunny spots during the day, and have someone who appreciates a good butt scratch. Maybe some other cat friends to hang with. A window with a view. Access to the legendary mop head (or reasonable substitutes). And most importantly, someone who'll love me for the energetic, confident, playful boy that I am.
