Hello, I'm Atlas. I'm a gentle soul looking for understanding. I was born on May 1st, 2024 and I was found in Glyfada by a kind lady who brought me to LBS sanctuary to live until I find my forever home.

I'm neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. My blood tests (FeLV and FIV) came back negative. I have no allergies, no ongoing health issues, and I don't require any medication or special medical care. I'm a healthy boy! I'm shy but very sweet. I need time to warm up to new people and situations—I won't come running to greet strangers. Instead, I'm suspicious and inspect them from afar until I decide they're safe. Once I know you though? I'm friendly and affectionate in my own quiet way.

I prefer my space, but I do enjoy pets—especially on my chin and neck. Those are my favorite spots! I show my contentment by rubbing on furniture, marking my territory and letting you know I'm comfortable. I'm more of a "same room" kind of cat rather than a lap cat. I like being near you, sharing your space, but I don't need to be on top of you.

I'm a laid-back guy, definitely more chill than active. You want to know when I'm most active? Feeding time! That's when you'll see me perk up and show some enthusiasm. The rest of the time, you'll find me napping on my favorite spot—the high cat tree's little hammock. I spend most of my time up there resting, then coming down to sniff other cats and eat.

I'm not really into toys right now. My preferred activities are naps and food—I'm simple like that! I like to meow occasionally (feels like I'm saying "hi" and showing I'm comfortable), but I'm not a very talkative cat overall. I'm very okay with all the other cats here. I've never caused an issue or shown any aggressive or territorial behavior. Generally, I keep to myself but coexist peacefully. I'd be fine in a multi-cat home or as your solo companion.

I would do better in a quiet home without loud noises or sudden movements. I'm more cautious than curious—I don't rush to explore new places. I take my time to feel safe. A house with grabbing and sudden moves from children wouldn't be ideal for me. I need a calm environment where I can relax. 

I'm not particularly sensitive about being touched (though belly rubs are probably a no), and when I'm uncomfortable, I don't hiss or swat—I just withdraw to myself or leave the situation. I handle my discomfort by creating distance, not through aggression.

I like all food—wet or dry, doesn't matter to me! I enjoy Churu treats when I'm in the mood, and I have no special dietary restrictions or picky preferences. Food is one of life's pleasures for me!

I am looking for a quiet, calm home with patient people who understand I'm a loner—but not so lonely that I don't enjoy companionship and pets. Someone who won't rush me to be affectionate but will appreciate the subtle ways I show I care, like rubbing on furniture or settling near you in the same room.

I'm more of an observer than a participant. I like my high perch where I can watch the world, my peaceful naps, and the occasional chin scratch from someone I trust.
