Hi, I'm Iasonas. I was found in the bushes behind a Sklavenitis in Varkiza on May 3rd, 2026. I was three days old. Someone brought me to the shelter on May 6th and I have been here ever since, growing at speed and playing with everything I can reach.

There is one thing my future home must know upfront: I am allergic to Royal Canin. It gives me vomiting and diarrhoea, and it should not be in my bowl under any circumstances. What should be in my bowl is BRIT Gastro — wet or dry — which I love and eat with great enthusiasm. Outside of that, I have no conditions, no medications, no restrictions. I tested negative on all my fecal tests, had my first Tricat vaccination in June 2026, and am perfectly healthy. Not neutered yet because I am a kitten, but that is coming.

My personality: I am a player. That is the most accurate and complete description of who I am. I roughhouse the other kittens, I run around the shelter all day, I chase wand toys and toy mice and balls with an intensity that I think is one of my best qualities. If you want to bond with me, play with me. That is how I connect and how I show that I like you. I do also enjoy being petted on my back and neck, and I purr when you do it — but I can get overstimulated if it goes on too long, and I will let you know when I've had enough.

I am mostly quiet. The one sound I make reliably is a small squeak when I am hungry, which I think is extremely endearing. Otherwise I express myself through movement rather than meowing.

New places make me a little cautious at first, but I am a kitten and I adjust quickly. I am friendly with everyone, comfortable with other cats, and I think I would get along with children of any age, especially ones who want to actually play rather than just hold me. I sleep on human beds when I get the chance, because I have decided that is where I belong and I stand by this.

I need a home that will play with me, feed me the right food, and understand that a cat who wants to engage with you every single day is not asking for very much — he is offering you everything.
