Hi, I’m Nimir!
I was born in February 2025, but I’ve already had quite the adventure. I was rescued in Athens after I got stuck inside the mechanism of a car — yes, inside! Luckily, a kind manager from Let’s Be SMART found me and brought me to safety on January 5th. Since then, I’ve been learning what it means to be loved and cared for.

I’m a friendly, affectionate little guy who loves people and other cats. I formed a special friendship with one of my siblings Tairn — we love to play together! I’m happiest in a home with other feline friends, where I can run, explore, and cuddle!

 

People say I’m sweet and gentle. I show my affection by purring and giving little licks. I especially like cuddling on beds or even curling up on your feet! I enjoy being petted on my head and body, and I’m not scared of strangers — I warm up quickly and love attention. I may not be the chattiest cat, but I do seek out connection, whether it's with people or other kitties.

 

My favorite times of day are morning and night, when I get the zoomies and race around! I love toys — especially balls, feathers, and laser pointers — and I’m known to sneak into cupboards out of curiosity. You’ll usually find me lounging on a bed when I’m not off exploring.

 

I’m healthy and don’t need any medication or special care. I eat everything (seriously — I’m not picky!) and have no allergies or food sensitivities.

Nimir was adopted locally and he went to his forever home in August 2025.
