Hi, I'm Gizzy. I have been adopted before. My person had to move abroad and couldn't take me with them, and so I came back to the shelter on June 17th, 2026. I want you to know that upfront, not because it reflects badly on anyone, but because I think you should know that I already understand what it means to have a home — and I would very much like to have one again, permanently this time.

I was born approximately June 2nd, 2025, so I am a young cat with a lot of life ahead of me. I am spayed, vaccinated and in perfect health with no conditions, no medications, nothing to worry about. I eat anything.

 

My personality: I am playful and energetic in the mornings — I will chase and chew anything available and I do this with great commitment. After that I settle down considerably. I am curious, I explore new places without much hesitation, and I like being near my person without being in their face about it. I purr, I roll over to show my belly, I sleep on the bed next to you. I am quiet — I don't meow to communicate, I just show up and make my presence known in the warmest possible way.

 

I like being petted anywhere, I am friendly with everyone I meet, and I am comfortable with strangers from the start. I enjoy my own time as much as I enjoy company, and I balance the two without any drama.

Other cats are not something I am willing to share my home with. I hiss at them, I snarl at them, I have made this position extremely clear at the shelter, and a solo home is genuinely what I need to be happy. This is not a flaw. It is simply a preference, and an honest one.

 

I know what a home feels like. I know what it means to be someone's cat. I just need someone whose plans don't change. I will be there every morning, ready to play, and every night, sleeping close. I promise I am worth keeping.
