Hi there, I’m Patrick! I’m a young boy, and I’ve had a bit of a rough start. I was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation where I lived in a crate with barely any food, surrounded by filth. It wasn’t the life I deserved, but things have been getting better! I tried a foster home, but I was scared and didn’t trust anyone. I hissed a lot back then. But now, at the shelter, I’m slowly learning that humans can be kind.

I’m a cat of many moods. Some days, I’m curious and will give you a headbutt or rub against things near you. Other days, I just want my space. I still prefer independence, but I meow a lot—I have things to say, you know! I love high places, especially the shelves on the balcony, and I’ll always find the perfect sunny spot for a nap. Oh, and food? Wet food is my favorite, especially tuna!

I get along with other cats, but I can also be a solo king of the castle. I had a little fight once with another cat on the balcony, but hey, who doesn’t have disagreements sometimes? With people, I’m still learning to trust. If you’re patient and don’t rush me, I’ll warm up in my own time. Sudden movements make me a bit nervous, so I’d prefer a calm home.

I’m neutered, fully vaccinated, and in great health—no special needs or medications required. I just need someone who understands that love and trust take time. If you’re looking for a smart, independent, talkative cat with a whole lot of personality, I might just be your perfect match.
