Hi… I’m Gimli. I’m still a little shy, so I hope you don’t mind me speaking softly. I was born on 25.05.25 and lived outside in Athens until Nine Lives trapped me and brought me somewhere safe—here. Everything felt so big and scary at first, and I tried my best to stay hidden high up where I could watch everyone. I’m still learning how to trust, but I promise I’m trying.

The humans here say I’m healthy: I’m neutered, vaccinated, and all my FeLV, FIV, FIP, and fecal tests came back negative.

I really like other cats—they make me feel braver. I even play through the fence with the cats next door, and there’s a boy named Billy that I’m starting to like. With people, I need time. I don’t walk up for pets yet, but if you move slowly, I might let you touch my chin for a second. I don’t scratch or bite—I just hiss a little if I’m scared.

My favorite places are the highest shelves and cubbies, where I can relax and feel safe. I like plush toys, quiet playtime, and watching everything from above. Sudden noises make me jump, and I prefer calm, gentle humans who understand sensitive souls like mine.

Maybe one day, with patience and love, I’ll feel brave enough to come close on my own. Until then, I’d love a peaceful home with another friendly cat to help me shine. I may not be the loudest or the boldest… but I promise I’m a good boy with a soft heart just waiting for the right person to see me.
