On 20th October, 2018 we were honored to have some amazing young guests visit our sanctuary for a birthday party that integrated children from different backgrounds and challenges. It was quite an amazing experience for both the children and the parents.

 

One of our S.M.A.R.T. kids, Apostolina, had her 7th birthday and agreed to have some guests she never met before help her celebrate. They all interacted with our kitty cats, watched animal videos that shows how intelligent and special our animals are, learned about caring for the animals, had their faces painted and they also just had great fun with their S.M.A.R.T. backpacks filled with animal supplies for strays and kid treats along with other gifts and the beautiful birthday cake they shared. Smiles were on everyone's faces. This is the ultimate outcome!!
