Hey my name is Arizona! I was living with my baby daughter Nopal (Mexican for “Cactus” although I am more like a cactus in my nature than she is) with a kind lady who brought us to live in her home from a life of struggle on the streets. One day this lady fell ill and had to move abroad and brought us to the shelter for a safer future where I now live with my baby girl. We miss the kind lady and think of her, and I am now trying to embrace my new life at the shelter with so many new friends.
I am a small stocky build yet ballerina like and agile type of cat, multi coloured in the browns with some touches of golden orange, my face is round like a desert moon, and I am oh so shy and come across as quite serious., which I am in fact, but I am also very street wise and sensitive, I will hide from people I don t know at first but I will eventually with time come out of my shell especially in the presence of a friendly chill male cat that would make me feel comfortable and secure and then I will be less shy of humans. I get super cuddly around the right people and calm environments make me shine!
I seem to be cautious but after a day or so, I become as cuddly as my daughter and will always sleep curled up on the end of your bed with you. I love to cuddle with my daughter but can also be quite independent when we are wondering around the room. We get along well with the more shy cats in the house too, but we are definitely attention lovers compared to others. We are both very curious and love to explore! When it’s time for bed we will nudge to get under the covers with you. We also both love to follow you around whilst you’re cleaning or getting dressed. We look forward to become someone’s family and get all the love and affection we deserve.

Hi, my name is Nopal! I was dropped off at the shelter with mom, Arizona. A kind lady had adopted us off the streets. But, she fell ill and could no longer care for us. After a long search for a new home, we stayed at a clinic for a short period, then came to the LBS shelter.
I was dropped off at the shelter with my mom, Arizona. I am named after a cactus, but my personality is just the opposite. I love to be the center of attention. I am quite vocal, because I want to know where you are, as well as letting you know where I am. I am super cuddly, loves pets and adores playing. I fill the room with my happy purrs every day. I am an energetic kitten who loves to be in the company of humans! I like sleeping on the bed next to people and as soon as you try to get up I will come flop down on you and insist that you lay in bed for an extra 10 minutes with me. I also drool a little bit too.
I enjoy human attention a lot but can also be quite independent when I am wondering around the room. I get along well with the shyer cats in the room, but me and my mom are definitely attention lovers compared to others. We are both very curious and love to explore. When it’s time for bed we will nudge to get under the covers with you. We also both love to follow you around whilst you’re cleaning or getting dressed. We can’t wait to meet our forever family.
Arizona and Nopal need to be adopted together.
