Sasha (02/2020)

Sasha was found scavenging around the supermarket in the town center of Varkiza. We have seen him there quite often begging for food. He was very friendly, and so we knew from the beginning that he should be able to find his forever home fairly easily, where he would be loved and looked after. We brought him in on the 12th of October 2020. He had to stay at the veterinary clinic for few weeks, where he was treated for internal and external parasites and some gastro-intestinal problems as it is very common for stray cats here in Greece. When he was ready, he was placed to the Let´s Be S.M.A.R.T. Foster Home on 2nd of November 2020 where he resides since.

Sasha is very adorable, good and gentle little boy. When he feels like it, he likes to be petted and stroked, even comes to cuddle with you while you watch TV or read a book. He is fine around other cats, he doesn´t fight or look for the troubles, quite the opposite, he likes to play, also on his own. He could be a solitary pet as well. He absolutely loves presence of humans and often just follows you like a shadow. He is very curious, and not afraid at all. He is very food motivated and whenever possible he asks for it. It is the only time when he can react little bit irritated, which is quite normal for a stray cat who had to scavenge and beg for his survival. He talks only when the food is involved. He loves soft beds and blankets and he just snuggles in as a little ball of fur and either sleeps or observes the surroundings. He also likes sunbathing on the terrace.

Sasha was adopted abroad and in December 2020 he travelled to his forever home.
