Danae and her mother Millie (she also lives in our sanctuary) had been living at a Fitness Center in Voula for about 10 years. One lady that is a member there has been caring for them all this time. The new management did not like the cats as they would go near the pool area and some customers were complaining. One employee there kicked very hard the mother cat and she was hurt and under a chair. The lady that cares for them was told and immediately took the mom to the vet and was able to also catch the daughter. They were treated, tested and then we accepted them into our sanctuary where they are safe.

Danae is a sweet lady. She is shy and needs time to settle into a new home. But once she is settled, she is very gentle and affectionate. She should be in the household with older children only. Danae loves wet food and a cuddle at her own pace. She loves her mother Millie and they will always cuddle together!

 

Danae was adopted abroad and in February 2021 she travelled to her forever home.
